Quaid-e-Azam History and his Political Career
Early life
The founder
of Pakistan, Quaid-e-Azam is one of the undisputed leaders in Pakistan's
history whose enthusiastic leadership changed the edge of subcontinental
politics and for the first time in history gave birth to a new state based on
ideology. On 25 December 1876, he was born in Karachi into a Muslim Rajput family
of Kashmir. Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah's father's full name was Jinnah
Punja and was a prominent businessman. His ancestors migrated from Gujarat
to Karachi.
Education
Quaid-e-Azam's
education started from a school in Karachi in 1882 where he studied up to class
IV. After that he entered Sindh Madrasa-ul-Islam in Karachi but after a few
months he moved to Bombay in Anjuman-e-Islam. He entered the school but he has
not stayed here for a long time and finally became back and entered
madrassa-ul-Islam. After completing her primary education here, he entered
Church Mission School Karachi. In January, he went to England. When he came, he
wanted to develop his father's business, but he took a personal interest and
entered a famous educational institution and succeeded in getting a barrister's
degree in 1896.
Quaid’s return
Now at the
same time her father's business in Karachi was in ruins. Quaid-e-Azam’s father
had asked him to come back during his studies but he reassured him and assured
him that after completing his education he would carry all the burdens. Did he
keep her promise? Muhammad Ali Jinnah started barrister practice from Mumbai in
1897 and soon he became one of the leading figures in the country. He joined
the Congress in 1905. He was elected a member of the Bombay Union from the Muslim
constituency and in 1910 he was elected a member of the Legislative Council.
Political Carrier
Friends, if
we talk about Jinnah's political career, it is not hidden from anyone.
Quaid-e-Azam was a very capable and powerful type of political leader. The
largest party at the time when Jinnah joined the Indian National Congress in
1896. Like the Congress, Jinnah, because of the British influence on education,
law, culture, and literature, decided not to support complete independence.
Jinnah has made all his announcements to become an open supporter, so during
the First World War, Jinnah, along with other Indian moderates, continued to
support Britain's war efforts. In the hope that the entire subcontinent(India)
will be granted political liberties.
Initially,
Jinnah has been reluctant to join the Muslim League, a Muslim representative
body formed on the year 1906. He thought it was a sect representative party which
is not very suitable for Muslims. Finally, in 1913 he joined the Muslim League.
Dear
friends, Jinnah, who
became president in the Lucknow session of 1916 and presided over it, was
supporter of the Lucknow Agreement between the Congress and the Muslim League,
which took place in 1916.
Friends, if
we evaluate the political services of Quaid-e-Azam, we will have less ink to
write. How did they
finally, work for the liberation of Muslims all over the subcontinent and
establish a separate existence of Pakistan with great principle and in a wise
way. Pakistan is still on the path of development but we pray to Allah that
he(Allah) blessed us a leader of qualities of Quaid-e-Azam who was undoubtedly
a great Muslim leader and at the same time he knew all the problems of Muslims
very well.
